San Francisco

Sunday, February 22, 2015

I'm just gonna take a quick break from hair to get all sentimental about vacations past. Last February, I road tripped to San Francisco with a bunch of friends for President's Day weekend. It was the best. A couple of my friends have ties to the Bay Area, so they acted as our tour guides...we got to see all the best spots. These were my favorite spots:

TWIN PEAKS SUMMIT
If you want to see a 180 of San Francisco, you have to visit Twin Peaks. It's gorgeous. You get to see every part of SF from one place, and you will die. If you are into photography, this should be your first stop.

MARIN HEADLANDS
I highly recommend watching the sunset from Marin Headlands, you have to. We did, and I remember thinking- I didn't ever want to leave. It's so beautiful. Watch the sunset here and you will wish you lived in San Francisco. I wish I lived in SF!

FOOD
We ate at 'Ike's Place' and 'Little Lucca Sandwich Shop'. The service at Ike's was too good. It was super busy the staff was so easy going about it, just a bunch of chill people. They'll ask you for your full name and you'll become instant friends. Lucca's gives you giant sandwiches. I can't remember what I got but I remember giving more than half away. Both places were yum, I'll try anything in SF and be happy.

BUT...
If you are in the area, try the Ube ice cream at Mitchell's. I loved it.
